![]() ![]() The actual pre-release versions of Edge Chromium at the moment of this writing are as follows: The stable version of Microsoft Edge is expected to be released on on January 15, 2020. You can find the actual Insider Preview versions at the end of this post. The stable channel is also on its way to users. The Canary channel receives updates daily (except Saturday and Sunday), the Dev channel is getting updates weekly, and the Beta channel is updated every 6 weeks. Microsoft is currently using three channels to deliver updates to Edge Insiders. Open the Reset settings tab in the left pane, and click on Restore settings to their default values. To reset Microsoft Edge: Click the three-dots menu and select Settings. Once reset, relaunch the browser and check for any improvements. The huge user base still on Windows 7 cant access Edge, and some Windows 10 users dont even know that Edge is different from IE. This means that the Redmond Sofware giant may stop supporting Edge on the discontinued OS at any moment of time, regardless of the Chromium support status. Click Reset settings to confirm the action. Anyway, in the statement made to Neowin, Microsoft didn't specify for how long the company is going to support Edge Chromium on Windows 7. ![]()
